No shocking result in a game when second ranked TSU (7-1) beat 9th ranked Cactus (2-7) in Tbilisi 77-59 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 29-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Lovell Cabbil (188-97, college: Liberty) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals for the winning side and the former international forward Mikhail Berishvili (204-87) accounted for 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Cabbil is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five TSU players scored in double figures. American power forward Quinterian McConico (203-95, college: AAMU) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and the former international guard Luka Zakradze (193-96) added 8 points and 6 assists respectively for Cactus in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TSU have a solid series of three victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Kutaisi lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Cactus lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost. TSU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Tskhum-Abkhazeti.
