The game in Ramla supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked Holon (3-6) played at the court of seventh ranked Ramla (4-5). Ramla smashed Holon 88-57 on Monday. Ramla had a 37-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Emma Cannon (190-89, college: FSC) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winners and her fellow American import point guard Courtney Williams (173-94, college: S.Florida) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Ramla players scored in double figures. Ramla's coach Shira Haelion felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Danielle Raber (183-96) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Ramla moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ramat G. Loser Holon dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Petah Tikva. Ramla will meet bottom-ranked Hertzeliya (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Holon will play against Ramat G. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
