Regular Season Round 11: La Roda - Alginet 84-77

Rather expected game when 11th ranked Alginet (3-7) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked La Roda (6-5) 84-77 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for naturalized Dominican forward Gregorio Adon (200-91, agency: Promo Sport ID) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Bahamas forward Radshad Davis (193, college: FIU) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Miguel Martinez (183-95) responded with 14 points and 5 assists and Sergio Romero scored 13 points and 4 assists. Four La Roda and five Alginet players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. La Roda moved-up to seventh place in Silver. Newly promoted Alginet keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. La Roda will meet higher ranked Cartagena (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Alginet will play against the league's second-placed Benicarlo (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
