There was an upset when higher ranked JA Vichy (5-6) was defeated on the road by seventeenth ranked ALM Evreux (3-8) 91-87 on Thursday. ALM Evreux looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian Djordje Milosevic (199-93, agency: PEPI SPORT) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Croatian guard Paolo Marinelli (191-95) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. Five ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. American forward Dominez Burnett (196-92, college: Davenport) produced 23 points and 5 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and American-Georgian point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. ALM Evreux maintains seventeenth place with 3-8 record. Loser JA Vichy keeps the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Blois and Saint Vallier. ALM Evreux will meet higher ranked Tours (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JA Vichy will play against Saint Vallier (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
