Important game to mention about took place in Revda. Third ranked TSU (11-3) saved a 2-point victory at home edging second-best Uralmash (11-3) 106-104 in the fight for the second place. TSU made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. TSU had a 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Uralmash's players. Uralmash was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for swingman Daniil Aksenov (195-95) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Andrey Kirdyachkin (207-90) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Justin Roberson (187-93, college: ULM) answered with 28 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Anton Glazunov (185-86) added 21 points in the effort for Uralmash. Four TSU and five Uralmash players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TSU moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Uralmash. TSU will play against Dinamo V. (#12) in Vladivostok in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Uralmash will play at home against Irkut (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
