Leader I.Nahariya delivered the eleventh win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked E.Ashkelon (7-5) 87-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of E.Ashkelon. I.Nahariya dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to E.Ashkelon's 30. The former international point guard Yogev Ohayon (189-87) fired 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Stephaun Branch (196-95, college: UWG, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four I.Nahariya players scored in double figures. American Storm Warren (211-88, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and the other American import JR Holder (198-94, college: Jacksonville) added 11 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. I.Nahariya maintains first place with 11-1 record. E.Ashkelon at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. I.Nahariya are looking forward to face M.Ashdod (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. E.Ashkelon will play against M.Ma'ale Adum. (#13) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
