Regular Season Round 16: Slask - Zastal 85-88

The biggest surprise of round 16 in EBL was guest Enea Zastal's (#5) road victory over WKS Slask (#6) 88-85 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of WKS Slask. Enea Zastal looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international Jaroslaw Zyskowski (203-92) fired 26 points for the winners. Serbian power forward Dragan Apic (206-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Travis Trice II (183-93, college: Michigan St.) produced 21 points and 4 assists and international power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) added 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Enea Zastal maintains fifth position with 10-6 record. WKS Slask at the other side keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Legia and King. Enea Zastal are looking forward to face league's second-placed Anwil in Wloclawek in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. WKS Slask will play at home against Stal (#3) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
