The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Aarhus: Bakken (#1) and BAC (#6). Bakken (12-0) crushed visiting BAC (5-8) by 37 points 100-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BAC. Bakken shot 60.7 percent from the field. Bakken had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: MSSU) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds and guard Marius Kirkholt (192-97) scored 5 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bakken have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. BAC at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Bakken are looking forward to face Naestved (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. BAC will play against Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
