No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Latvian TTT Riga (13-0) crushed bottom-ranked Lithuanian LCC Tarp. (0-12) in Klaipeda 107-45 on Tuesday. The game without a history. TTT Riga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to LCC Tarp.'s 18. TTT Riga forced 22 LCC Tarp. turnovers and outrebounded them 36-19 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by LCC Tarp.'s players. The winners were led by guard Ieva Pulvere (172-90) who scored that evening 15 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Vanesa Jasa (180-3) supported her with 17 points. Four TTT Riga players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Laurita Jurciute (178-98) did not help to save the game for LCC Tarp.. Auste Jureviciute (173-4) added 5 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TTT Riga have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Defending Latvian champion maintains first position with 13-0 record. Loser LCC Tarp. still closes the standings with 12 games lost. TTT Riga's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Riga RSU.
