Regular Season Round 13: U19 Chance - USK Praha 45-126

ZBL top team - USK Praha (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed tenth ranked U19 Chance (0-12) in Strakonice 126-45. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 98 of its points in the paint compared to U19 Chance's 28. USK Praha forced 37 U19 Chance turnovers and outrebounded them 48-23 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by U19 Chance's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Brionna Alaine Jones (190-95, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Spanish forward Maria Conde (187-97, college: FSU) contributed with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five USK Praha players scored in double figures. USK Praha's coach Natalia Hejkova felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anna Rosecka (178-0) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Adela Junkova (178-4) added 14 points in the effort for U19 Chance. USK Praha have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. U19 Chance at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost. USK Praha are looking forward to face Slovanka MB (#6) in Vodochody in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. U19 Chance will play on the road against Zabiny Brno (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
