Regular Season Round 15: La Flecha - Agustinos 73-79

Everything went according to plan in Arroyo Encomienda where second ranked Agustinos (14-5) won against 8th ranked La Flecha (7-9) 79-73 on Saturday. Agustinos looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for center Sergio Martinez (208-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Miguel Dominguez (197-95) helped adding 16 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Pablo Cendon (192-95) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and guard Eduardo Castano (186-0) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four La Flecha players scored in double figures. La Flecha's coach Juan Velez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Agustinos. Newly promoted Agustinos maintains second place with 14-5 record having just nine point less than leader Huelva CD. Loser La Flecha keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Agustinos will meet Puerto Sagunto (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. La Flecha will play against Gijon Basket (#14) and hope to secure a win.
