Regular Season Round 12: Aros - Hogsbo 2 90-75

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Aros (8-2) defeated at home 8th ranked Hogsbo 2 (2-7) 90-75 on Saturday. Aros forced 25 Hogsbo 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Oskar Ekh (190-99) who scored 26 points and 4 assists. Forward Alexander Lundqvist (197-94) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Aros players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Herman Kihlman (198-4) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds and Powell Musoke added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aros moved-up to second place, which they share with Sloga Uppsala. Hogsbo 2 lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Kalmar 2. Aros will meet KFUM Fry. 2 (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hogsbo 2 will play against Hammarby and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
