No shocking result in a game when third ranked Sokol Pisek (11-3) crushed at home 10th ranked Sokol Vyseh. (1-14) 111-60 on Sunday. Sokol Pisek dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Sokol Vyseh.'s 22 and made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Sokol Pisek forced 21 Sokol Vyseh. turnovers and outrebounded them 49-32 including 21 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Sokol Vyseh.'s players. It was an exceptional evening for Josef Svoboda (185-5) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Vojtech Sykora (189-1) accounted for 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Five Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. Swingman Daniel Zach (195-97) came up with 16 points and forward David Balek (194-98) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Sokol Vyseh. in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Pisek moved-up to second place, which they share with Ostrava. Sokol Vyseh. lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 14 games lost. Sokol Pisek will meet Levharti Chomutov (#4) on the road in the next round. Sokol Vyseh. will play against Polabi (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
