Valencia outrebounded Unicaja 33-20 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Icelandic guard Martin Hermannsson (190-94, college: LIU Brooklyn) who scored 16 points. Slovenian Klemen Prepelic (191-92) chipped in 15 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line).
