Everything went according to plan in Yekaterinburg where third ranked Uralmash (13-3) beat 12th ranked Dinamo V. (5-11) 96-83 on Wednesday. Uralmash dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Dinamo V.'s 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Justin Roberson (187-93, college: ULM) who scored 26 points and 5 assists. Point guard Anton Glazunov (185-86) chipped in 18 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Belarusian guard Kirill Sitnik (190-89) produced 20 points and American forward Mike Edwards (206-97, college: Georgia) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Uralmash moved-up to second place, which they share with TSU. Dinamo V. lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Uralmash will meet at home CSKA 2 (#6) in the next round. Dinamo V. will play against the league's leader Runa Basket (#1) and hope to secure a win.
