Regular Season Round 19: BAL Weert - Den Bosch 77-87

One of the most interesting games of round 19 was a derby match between two teams from Holland. First ranked Den Bosch won against host BAL Weert (5-12) 87-77. It was a great evening for American power forward Mike Carlson (206-91, college: Truman St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Clay Mounce (201-98, college: Furman) helped adding 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American forward DJ Mitchell (203-97, college: Santa Clara) responded with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Sander Hollanders (194-1) scored 18 points. Four Den Bosch and five BAL Weert players scored in double figures. Den Bosch maintains first place with 15-1 record. BAL Weert at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Den Bosch will play against Feyenoord (#5) in Rotterdam in the next round. BAL Weert will play at home against Groningen (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
