Regular Season Round 16: Gravelines - Dijon 67-76

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (7-7) lost at home to ninth ranked JDA Dijon (8-7) 76-67 on Friday. The winners were led by Abdoulaye Loum (209-91) who scored that evening 16 points and 8 rebounds and Trinidad and Tobago-American Khadeen Carrington (193-95, college: Seton Hall) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Even 21 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) by American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-94, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Gravelines-Dunkerque. His fellow American import guard Marcquise Reed (190-95, college: Clemson, agency: Pensack Sports) added 19 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. JDA Dijon moved-up to eighth place. Loser Gravelines-Dunkerque dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. JDA Dijon will meet at home bottom-ranked Le Portel (#18) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Chalons-Reims (#15) and hope to secure a win.
