Regular Season Round 18: Les Sables - Lorient 70-68

There was an upset in Les Sables-D'Ollone where higher ranked Lorient (11-7) was edged by tenth ranked Les Sables (9-9) 70-68 on Saturday. Les Sables looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Finnish center Daniel Dolenc (205-93, agency: Blacktop Management) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Lucas Plasse (185-97) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Four Les Sables players scored in double figures. Les Sables' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Guinean point guard Ahmed Doumbia (195-89) who recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Sebastien Cape (185-93) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively. Les Sables moved-up to sixth place in Group A, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Lorient keeps the fourth position with seven games lost.
