There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Rendsburg (8-8) was outplayed on the road by seventh ranked Neustadt TSV (8-8) 105-68 on Saturday. Neustadt TSV forced 29 Rendsburg turnovers and outrebounded them 32-18 including 21 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Jannik Lodders (198-92) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds and Dutch point guard Dyon Doekhi (188-87) who added 18 points and 10 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Neustadt TSV players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American forward Devaughn Mallory (201-97, college: Jefferson) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and Swedish guard Andree Michelsson (188-97) scored 11 points. Neustadt TSV moved-up to sixth place in North, which they share with defeated Rendsburg. Neustadt TSV will meet WSG Koenigs (#10) in the next round. Rendsburg will play against Aschersleben (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
