There was an upset when higher ranked Quimper UJAP (7-7) lost at home to fourteenth ranked Lille Metropole (7-8) 84-75 on Saturday. Lille Metropole had a 26-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lorenzo Thirouard-Samson (197-1) notched 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and point guard Yohan Choupas (193-0) supported him with 5 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Even 17 points by Jamaican-American power forward Ryan Reid (204-86, college: FSU) did not help to save the game for Quimper UJAP.
