Regular Season Round 19: Pruszkow - Krosno 86-79

There was a surprise result in Pruszkow where sixteenth ranked Znicz (3-14) beat higher ranked Krosno (8-10) 86-79 on Saturday. It was a great evening for power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Adrian Sulinski (188-89) helped adding 18 points and 6 assists. At the losing side naturalized German forward Julian Jasinski (201-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and forward Konrad Dawdo (198-99) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Znicz and four Krosno players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Znicz maintains sixteenth place with 3-14 record. Loser Krosno dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Starogard Gd.. Znicz will meet at home higher ranked Lublin 2 (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Krosno will play against Slask (#10) in Wroclaw and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
