Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Rimini (10-3) defeated 12th ranked RO Luiss (5-10) in Roma 69-52 on Sunday. They outrebounded RO Luiss 44-26 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for forward Marco Arrigoni (198-91, agency: SLN) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. The former international power forward Tommaso Rinaldi (203-85, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 7 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Swingman Giorgio Di Bonaventura (192-97) came up with 16 points and point guard Marco Pasqualin (178-97) added 8 points respectively for RO Luiss in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rimini moved-up to third place, which they share with Rieti Real.
