No shocking result in a game when first ranked Cividale (14-1) beat at home 7th ranked Desio (8-7) 76-66 on Sunday. They outrebounded Desio 52-23 including a 21-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Gabriele Miani (202-0) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Eugenio Rota (178-99, agency: SLN) accounted for 9 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Naturalized Bulgarian guard Georgi Sirakov (185-92) came up with 21 points and Andrea Mazzoleni (197-98) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Desio in the defeat. Desio's coach Gabriele Ghirelli tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Cividale.
