Regular Season Round 15: Ourense - Moron 68-66

The most exciting game of round 15 in the LEB Silver took place in Ourense. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Moron (8-6) to third ranked Ourense (10-3) 68-66 on Saturday evening. Ourense outrebounded Moron 37-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Javier Marin (190-92) who scored 16 points and 9 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). American Darius Carter (201-92, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Cuban-Belgian point guard Sigfredo Casero-Ortiz (185-97) who recorded 16 points and Portuguese guard Diogo De Sousa (198-97, college: Utah St.) added 13 points respectively. Four Moron players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ourense moved-up to second place in Silver. Moron at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Ourense are looking forward to face Navarra (#11) in Pamplona in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Moron will play at home against Melilla (#9) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
