Regular Season Round 27: Mykolaiv - Dnipro 68-76

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Mykolaiv (5-21) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Dnipro (16-10) 76-68. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-14. But Mykolaiv won second period 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American point guard DJ Cooper (183-90, college: Ohio) who led his team to a victory with 9 points and 10 assists. The former international swingman Pavlo Krutous (201-92) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Croatian center Matej Radunic (211-96) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Maurice Creek (196-90, college: GWU, agency: BIG) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Mykolaiv. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dnipro have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 16-10 record. Mykolaiv at the other side stay dead last with 21 lost games. They share the position with Cherkasy.
