Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Polytechnica (4-8) was outscored by first ranked Minyor 2015 (11-1) in Sofia 86-66 on Saturday. Minyor 2015 looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Forward Georgi Barzakov (204-94) nailed 23 points for the winning side and center Dragomir Enchev (206-98) accounted for 11 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Minyor 2015 players scored in double figures. Ivaylo Konstantinov came up with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Jordan Kirilov (185-2) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Polytechnica in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Minyor 2015 maintains first place in A with 11-1 record. Polytechnica at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Minyor 2015 will meet Pravets (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Polytechnica's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Sofia to the arena CSKA.
