Bottom-ranked Olomoucko managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of seven consecutive losses on Saturday night. This time they edged fifth-ranked USK Praha 81-79. The best player for the winners was Croatian-American guard Nikolas Tomsick (183-91, college: Fort Lewis) who scored 22 points. Serbian power forward Sreten Knezevic (206-94) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Five Olomoucko players scored in double figures. Olomoucko's coach Miljan Curovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Kyle Mangas (193, college: IWU) produced 22 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and the former international forward Jan Sterba (197-95) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Olomoucko (3-19) moved-up to eleventh place. USK Praha lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Kolin.
