The game in Yuzhny supposed to be quite interesting. Sixth ranked Zaporizhye (14-12) played at the court of 7th ranked Khimik (12-14). Zaporizhye smashed Khimik 86-56 on Sunday. The game without a history. Zaporizhye led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Zaporizhye outrebounded Khimik 44-29 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Yasiin Joseph (186, college: Carleton) who scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Daeshon Francis (193-96, college: UTPB) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Christian Jones (201-93, college: UNLV, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Alexander Kovlyar (188-2) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively.
