Fenerbahce looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for Ukrainian swingman Alina Iagupova (186-92, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. German forward Satou Sabally (193-98, college: Oregon) helped adding 25 points and 6 rebounds. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce's coach Victor Lapena felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Teaira McCowan (201-96, college: MSU) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 18 rebounds and the other American import point guard Danielle Robinson (178-89, college: Oklahoma) scored 8 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Fenerbahce have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-1 record. Ormanspor at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Nesibe. Fenerbahce will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ormanspor will play at home against Besiktas and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
