Regular Season Round 11: Slask - Levallois 59-74

Everything went according to plan in Wroclaw where seventh ranked French Metropolitans (6-5) beat bottom-ranked Polish WKS Slask (1-9) 74-59 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Vincent Hunter (203-94, college: UTEP) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Tony Crocker (199-87, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 14 points. Five Metropolitans players scored in double figures. Metropolitans' coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Turkish Kerem Kanter (207-95, college: Xavier) produced 9 points and 14 rebounds and power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Metropolitans moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with Turk Telekom. WKS Slask lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Metropolitans will meet at home league's second-placed Lokomotiv in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. WKS Slask will play against Turk Telekom (#6) and hope to win that game.
