A very close game took place in Mulhouse between SOPCC and Mulhouse. Tenth ranked SOPCC (8-11) got a very close victory on the road over second-ranked Mulhouse (13-6). SOPCC managed to escape with a 3-point win 63-60 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. SOPCC made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. The winners were led by naturalized Mali guard Ludovic Chelle (186-83) who scored that evening 20 points and 5 assists and point guard Bryan Coudray (189-0) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 6 points and 9 rebounds by Bahamas forward Willis Mackey (203-96, college: UNOH, agency: Duran International) did not help to save the game for Mulhouse. Guard Quentin Diehl (185-91) added 13 points for the hosts. SOPCC moved-up to ninth place in Group B. Loser Mulhouse dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with Le Havre and Lyon CTC. SOPCC will meet at home CFBB (#13) in the next round. Mulhouse will play against the league's second-placed C'Chartres (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
