The game between second ranked Chalon/Saor (11-4) and 17th ranked Denain Voltaire (4-8) in Chalon on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. Chalon/Saor beat guests from Denain 79-61. Chalon/Saor outrebounded Denain Voltaire 41-22 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by center Mathis Dossou-Yovo (205-0) who scored that evening 22 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Antoine Eito (188-88) supported him with 12 points and 9 assists. Chalon/Saor have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-4 record having just three points less than leader St-Chamond. Loser Denain Voltaire keeps the seventeenth place with eight games lost. Chalon/Saor will meet at home Quimper UJAP (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Denain Voltaire will play against ALM Evreux (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
