Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked MBA Moscow (9-10) was rolled over at home by second ranked Uralmash (16-3) 96-76 on Thursday. Uralmash dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to MBA Moscow's 36. They outrebounded MBA Moscow 38-21 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Uralmash looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Justin Roberson (187-93, college: ULM) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Point guard Anton Glazunov (185-86) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Uralmash's coach Boris Livanov used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Vladislav Sharapov (204-99) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and forward Daniil Kochergin (207-99, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 13 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Uralmash have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 16-3 record having just one point less than leader Runa Basket. Loser MBA Moscow keeps the ninth place with ten games lost. Uralmash will meet Kupol-Rodniki (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MBA Moscow will play against TSU and hope to secure a win.
