There was no surprise in Pont de Cheruy where 13th ranked CFBB (5-16) was outplayed by ninth ranked SOPCC (9-11) 68-46 on Friday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Mali guard Ludovic Chelle (186-83) who scored 17 points. Point guard Bryan Coudray (189-0) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Melvin Ajinca (202-4) who recorded 16 points and forward Alexandre Bouzidi (196-4) added 11 points respectively. CFBB's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for SOPCC. They maintain ninth place in Group B with 9-11 record. CFBB lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. SOPCC will meet higher ranked STB Le Havre (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CFBB will play against the league's second-placed C'Chartres (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
