The game between 11th ranked Cherkasy (5-22) and second ranked Budivelnyk (20-7) in Cherkasy on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Kyiv beat Cherkasy 96-82. Five Budivelnyk and four Cherkasy players scored in double figures. Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Budivelnyk have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-7 record having one point less than leader Prometey. Cherkasy lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom. Budivelnyk are looking forward to face Odessa (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cherkasy will play against Khimik and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
