Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Hamm (9-8) beat on the road 11th ranked Hagen-Haspe (7-11) 76-72 on Friday. Hamm forced 20 Hagen-Haspe turnovers. Point guard Till Hornscheidt (184-1) scored 30 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American Josh Boutte (198, college: Angelo St.) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Oscar Luchterhandt (195-91) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and American power forward Daniel Westbrook (208-95, college: Barton, NC) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Hamm have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place in West, which they share with Wulfen and Recklinghausen. Newly promoted Hagen-Haspe keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Hamm will meet at home higher ranked Bonn 2 (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
