No shocking result in a game when first ranked Den Bosch (16-2) defeated at home 4th placed Groningen (12-6) 100-87 on Saturday. Den Bosch forced 19 Groningen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American power forward Mike Carlson (206-91, college: Truman St.) stepped up and scored 26 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Austin Price (193-95, college: Lehigh) chipped in 26 points. The best for the losing side was American guard Marquis Addison (193-91, college: MSSU) with 19 points and 4 steals and American-Italian guard Henry Caruso (194-95, college: Santa Clara) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Den Bosch went down to eleventh position due to points difference. Loser Groningen dropped to the fourteenth place with six games lost.
