Regular Season Round 18: Gravelines - Limoges CSP 72-53

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Limoges CSP Elite (9-8) was rolled over on the road by eleventh ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (9-7) 72-53 on Saturday. Romuald Morency (202-95) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) to lead the charge for the winners and American guard John Jenkins (193-91, college: Vanderbilt) chipped in 16 points during the contest. Four Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach J.D. Jackson used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Nicolas Lang (198-90, agency: BeoBasket) with 17 points and American guard Demonte Harper (193-89, college: Morehead St.) scored 11 points. Gravelines-Dunkerque moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Strasbourg and Nanterre. Loser Limoges CSP Elite dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Dijon. Gravelines-Dunkerque will meet league's second-placed Monaco on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Limoges CSP Elite will play against JSF Nanterre (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
