Very predictable result when second ranked Chalon/Saor (13-4) beat on the road 9th ranked Lille Metropole (8-10) 83-77 on Friday. American guard Desi Washington (188-92, college: St.Peter's) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Antoine Eito (188-88) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. Chalon/Saor's coach Sebastian Machowski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Louis Rucklin (184-99) with 12 points and 4 assists and American-Nigerian forward Christian Nwogbo (200-91, college: Cedarville) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Chalon/Saor have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-4 record behind leader St-Chamond.
