Regular Season Round 15: Karditsas - Koroivos 83-73

A2 top team - Karditsas (12-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Koroivos (8-6) 83-73. Karditsas players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a quality performance for point guard Alexandros Spyridonidis (190-95) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 4 assists. Forward Dimitris Gravas (203-93) accounted for 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Sarandis Mastrogiannopoulos (194-97, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 28 points and 8 rebounds and Nikos Paparegkas (200-94) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Koroivos in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Karditsas have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Newly promoted Koroivos dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Marousi. Karditsas will play against Enosi Kavalas (#5) in Kavalaa in the next round. Koroivos will play on the road against Agriniou and hopes to get back on the winning track.
