Very predictable result in Athens where seventh ranked Marousi (8-6) smashed bottom-ranked Napfliou (0-13) 120-68 on Saturday. Marousi forced 21 Napfliou turnovers and outrebounded them 50-23 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Napfliou's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Orfeas Stasinos (183-88) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 assists. Center Marios Doxas (207-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Marousi players scored in double figures. Marousi's coach Giorgos Skarafingas felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Panagiotis Haidas (189-0) who recorded 23 points and 4 assists and Montenegrin forward Igor Cvorovic (206-96, agency: Domantay Sports) added 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively. Marousi moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Koroivos. Napfliou lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. They share the position with Dafni.
