There was a minor upset in Vladivostok where 9th ranked MBA Moscow (9-12) was crushed by eleventh ranked Dinamo V. (8-14) 89-68. Dinamo V. outrebounded MBA Moscow 39-19 including a 30-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. MBA Moscow was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Tyron Harris (188-91, college: Columbus St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 assists. The former international center Andrey Desiatnikov (220-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) accounted for 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Five Dinamo V. players scored in double figures. Point guard Makar Konovalov (189-0, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) came up with 21 points and 6 assists and guard Yegor Pokinko (185-2) added 18 points respectively for MBA Moscow in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Dinamo V. maintains eleventh place with 8-14 record. MBA Moscow lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Dinamo V. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. MBA Moscow's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Moscow CSKA 2.
