Regular Season Round 24: Mulhouse - GET Vosges 86-62

Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked GET Vosges (4-18) was rolled over on the road by fourth ranked Mulhouse (16-7) 86-62 on Tuesday. Mulhouse dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to GET Vosges' 26. They outrebounded GET Vosges 47-33 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mulhouse looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Spanish center Victor Serrano (210-89) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard William Mensah (175-95) chipped in 11 points and 9 assists. Four Mulhouse players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Eliot Maraux (185-96) who recorded 14 points and guard Mahes Montout (185-0) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mulhouse have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Le Havre and Lyon CTC. GET Vosges lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Mulhouse will meet SO Maritime Boulogne (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. GET Vosges will play against Kaysersberg (#11) and hope to secure a win.
