Regular Season Round 13: Buducnost - Venezia 72-82

The game between third ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (8-5) and sixth ranked Italian Venezia (6-5) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Buducnost was defeated by Venezia in Podgorica 72-82. Worth to mention a great performance of American-North Macedonian point guard Jordan Theodore (182-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Network Sports International) who helped to win the game recording 15 points. Greek-American Michael Bramos (198-87, college: Miami, OH) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Serbian Vladimir Micov (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 14 points and 4 assists and American power forward Willie Reed (211-90, college: St.Louis) added 15 points in the effort for Buducnost. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Venezia moved-up to fourth place in Group B. Defending Montenegrin champion Buducnost keeps the third position with five games lost. Venezia are looking forward to face league's leader Gran Canaria in Las Palmas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Buducnost will play on the road against Cedevita Ol. in Ljubljana and is hoping to win this game.
