Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked C'Chartres (16-9) was defeated at home by third ranked STB Le Havre (18-7) 89-73 on Friday. STB Le Havre looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-1985, college: PFW) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center Romain Duport (216-1986) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five STB Le Havre players scored in double figures. Point guard Yann Siegwarth (185-1993) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 assists and point guard Kevin Thalien (190-1992) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. C'Chartres' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for STB Le Havre. They moved-up to second place in Group B. Loser C'Chartres keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. STB Le Havre will meet at home GET Vosges (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
