Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Illiabum (3-14) was rolled over on the road by ninth ranked Povoa (8-12) 89-63. American swingman Delaney Blaylock (196, college: Lewis, agency: Wasserman) nailed 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds for the winning side and Bosnian-Canadian guard Diego Kapelan (190-87, college: McNeese St., agency: BIG) accounted for 25 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Jaylen Key (203-97, college: New Orleans, agency: One Motive Sports) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import forward Tahjai Teague (203-97, college: Ball St.) added 19 points respectively for Illiabum in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Povoa moved-up to eighth place. Illiabum lost their seventh game in a row. Illiabum at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Povoa will play against higher ranked Lusitania (#5) in Angra in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Illiabum will play at home against the league's second-placed Benfica (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
