Regular Season Round 22: Ramat Hash. - M.Haifa 75-66

There was no surprise in Ramat Hasharon where 7th ranked M.Haifa (11-9) was defeated by third ranked Ramat Hash. (14-5) 75-66 on Saturday. Ramat Hash. made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. American Tyler Wideman (203-1995, college: Butler) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Kevin Capers (188-1993, college: FSC) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Ramat Hash.'s coach Guy Kantor used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American point guard Kwame Vaughn (190-1990, college: CS Fullerton) responded with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international power forward Daniel Koperberg (208-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Ramat Hash. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-5 record having just one point less than leader I.Nahariya. Loser M.Haifa dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost. They share the position with H.Afula. Ramat Hash. will meet H.Ramat Gan (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. M.Haifa will play against E.Kiryat Ata (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
