There was no surprise when 11th ranked Jesi (7-12) lost on the road to eighth ranked Imola (12-7) 75-68 on Sunday. Imola forced 23 Jesi turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for forward Kevin Cusenza (200-93) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Emanuele Trapani (182-99) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Four Imola players scored in double figures. Imola's coach Federico Grandi used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. North Macedonian Rezart Memed (191-3) came up with 21 points and 5 rebounds and guard Simone Rocchi (185-0, agency: SLN) added 19 points respectively for Jesi in the defeat. Imola moved-up to seventh place in B. Loser Jesi dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Imola will meet RO Luiss (#11) in the next round. Jesi will play against the league's second-placed Rimini having rather not much hope for a victory.
