Very predictable result when fourth ranked Dnipro (18-10) smashed on the road 9th ranked Ternopil-TNEU (10-20) 84-63. The game without a history. Dnipro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Dnipro outrebounded Ternopil-TNEU 40-25 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Ternopil-TNEU's players. The winners were led by international power forward Sergiy Pavlov (209-97) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Viacheslav Kravtsov (212-87, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Dnipro's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 15 points and 9 rebounds by the former international power forward Maksim Sandul (207-91, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Ternopil-TNEU. American swingman Lucky Jones (198-93, college: RMU) added 17 points for the hosts. Dnipro have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 18-10 record. Ternopil-TNEU at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 20 games lost. Dnipro will play against Odessa (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Ternopil-TNEU will play against Zaporizhye and hopes to get back on the winning track.
