A very close game took place in Izhevsk between Kupol-Rodniki and Ufimets Ufa. Twelfth ranked Kupol-Rodniki (7-15) got a very close home victory over 13th ranked Ufimets Ufa (6-17). Kupol-Rodniki managed to escape with a 1-point win 93-92 on Monday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Grigory Motovilov (193-98) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!) and 7 assists and swingman Yegor Tikanov (194-92) who added 24 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Aleksandr Razumov (203-92) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and center Grigory Shukhovtsov (211-83) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Ufimets Ufa players scored in double figures. Ufimets Ufa's coach Eduard Raud tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Kupol-Rodniki maintains twelfth position with 7-15 record. Ufimets Ufa lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with 17 games lost. Kupol-Rodniki will meet at home higher ranked CSKA 2 (#5) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ufimets Ufa will play against MBA Moscow (#9) and hope to secure a win.
